Position: Machine Operator x 5

Location: Ellesmere Port

Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-2pm /2pm-10pm/10pm-6am Saturday on a rota basis

Salary: up to £23,000p/a

We are looking for highly motivated individual to be part of our client's team within their state-of-the-art Plant based on the Wirral. Duties:

• Take full responsibility for the quality of product and team when responsible for it.
• Meet production targets.
• Be at the machine ready to operate promptly at the time of start and hand over to incoming colleague as needed.
• Operation of a forklift (where required).

• Use PPE and wear appropriate clothing as provided. (This may include in time a uniform).
• Undertake certain responsibilities of fellow warehouse colleagues in the event of absence.
• Ensuring all workspace is kept clean and tidy in line with current business and health & safety requirements.
• Operate in line with Health and Safety regulations set out in the training.
• Partake and suggest improvements that can be made in terms of the Warehouse and Production areas and related processes.
• Any other reasonable request by management.

Machinery used over time:

• Material Handling System and associated Software
• Flexo Folder Gluers
• Rotary Die cutters
• Multi Point Gluers
• Flat Bed Die cutters
• Box Makers and associated Finishing Equipment

Skill and Qualifications:

• Previous experience within print packaging would be advantageous.
• Experience within fast-moving production environment
• Good Technical skills
• Good/ Strong IT and numerical skills
• Strong Communication skills - spoken and written.
• Strong Teamworking skill
• High Levels of Flexibility
• Reasonable Physical exertion within Health and Safety regulations and Risk Assessment will be required.
• Strong organisational skills
