We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing team specialising in advanced video and multimedia processing equipment. This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and organisation.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Accurately pick and prepare customer orders using pick lists and system instructions
Update stock quantities, locations and movements within the MRP system 💻
Pack finished products securely to ensure safe delivery to customers 📦
Produce dispatch paperwork including courier labels and shipping documentation
Book in incoming deliveries accurately and efficiently 🚚
Check deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes and supplier paperwork
Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly 👀
Arrange collections and courier bookings while monitoring shipment progress
Communicate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve delivery queries or delays 🤝
Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse/dispatch area in line with health & safety procedures 🦺
Support additional warehouse and logistics duties as required
✅ Skills & Experience
Previous experience within dispatch, logistics, warehouse, shipping/receiving or a similar environment preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident using IT systems; experience with MRP or stock control systems advantageous 💡
Strong communication skills with a proactive and positive attitude
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team 👥
💪 Physical Requirements
Comfortable lifting and moving items up to 25kg
Able to stand, walk and remain active throughout the working day
Good hand dexterity and attention to detail when handling products and documentation
