HRGO are seeking a Learning & Development Officer. The role is there to provide efficient and effective learning and development opportunities to managers and teams across the organisation. To offer advice and guidance to managers and staff in regards to learning and development solutions and requirements, meeting the needs of individuals, teams, and the organisation. To develop skilled staff and managers to provide the highest level of consistent service in all areas and to drive the business forward. This role is for someone who has experience of delivery of learning and development activities.

Key Duties:

  • Responsible for the design, development & delivery of a range of learning and development programmes to meet the organisation's business needs and future ambitions.

  • Responsible for design and delivery of a robust Company Induction to all new employees; including statutory training; in addition to support managers to ensure effective departmental induction.

  • Responsible for commissioning external training providers where required, ensuring clear guidance on outcomes required are met and evaluated through the training delivered.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of all learning and development delivery on individual, team, and organisation.

  • Maintain and manage the learning schedule, including booking venues, equipment, course participation and recording all training on individual's personnel record.

  • Providing advice and solutions to managers and individuals on learning and development needs, activities, and opportunities.

  • Responsible for maintaining the Apprentice Levy Account; ensuring that records are kept up to date; liaising with NVQ and apprentice training providers to ensure all opportunities are made available to teams and individuals.

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 17:00 pm. Weekends and evenings would only be required on occasion to meet induction needs.
