We are looking for an International Carrier Manager for our well established client based in Dover. The main purpose of the Carrier Manager's job is the management of all aspects of the relationship between the company and its Transport Suppliers and Vendors. This function is limited to all Transport Suppliers and Vendors in the operational area of the company's activities. This function may include non-transport related suppliers such as fuel, load safety, vehicle purchase and maintenance vendors and any other road transport related services the company has a requirement for. The position requires close co-operation with the Operational, Sales & Country Management.

All elements related to the purchase of Operational Transport Services from Third Parties such as:

• Identify and engage with new or known hauliers for the purposes of securing their Traction or Transport Services for international branches and conclude negotiations including Freight Rate agreements. Oversee the Onboarding process - including the vetting procedures for these hauliers.

• Management of all Haulage Contracts incl of regular Contract/Rate Reviews with all hauliers.

• Price Agreement of individual Traffic Lanes/Service Agreements.

• Management of the Administration of the Carrier Quality/Insurance and compliance documentation and files.

• Create/Design Haulage Contractors Service Agreements depending on the individual circumstances of hauliers or lanes.

• Creation of Haulier Data Base.

• Align Haulier Data Base information with actual Traffic Flows in order to create automated traffic lanes = Traffic Lane and Haulier are matched by load and price compatibility.

• Create/Run a monthly KPI system (Control Tower Tools) for the Carrier Management function. Provide Statistical Support for management

• Market Analysis of competitors, suppliers and any other LSP.

• Market Analysis and Monitoring of Freight Rate Developments in the individual geographical areas of the EU and, in particular, the markets in Austria, Benelex, Italy, France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

• Proposals in respect of pricing strategy with its suppliers in the individual geographical areas of Operations.

• Market Transparency, ie which Hauliers are regularly operating in which geographical European Markets.
