Job Title: Internal Account Manager (Connectivity / Contact Centre / IT Managed Services

Location: Manchester (Office Based)

Salary: £35k to £37k with 15k to 20k commissions - 50k to 57k OTE

My client is an established Manchester based IT Managed Services organisation who are enjoying a period of growth.

We are looking for an Account Manager with between 1 and 2 years working experience that's worked within an IT Managed Services environment, ideally working as a Junior Account Exec or Junior Account Manager.

Working closely with the named Account Directors, helping to support them in proving Customer Experience and Retention of Annual recurring revenues.

As part of the overall engagement, you will support the Account Directors in working to drive cross sell and upsell opportunities to broaden my client's footprint within each account.

Within your own named accounts, you will work to ensure retention of the recurring revenues and create additional cross sell opportunities.

You will work working closely with the team to bring new contacts and opportunities to light through close customer management and support proactive outreach to drive customer engagement activities.


You will engage directly in your own named accounts; driving growth and ensuring the retention of renewals and recurring revenue.

You will compile customer quotations and process orders and work closely with the service delivery team to ensure both continuous service improvement and the evolution of services.

Support the account team in understanding the wider customer requirements, objectives and business drivers. Providing a highly professional service to customers at all times.

In addition to the above, you will also ensure the in-house CRM system (Salesforce) is maintained and kept up to date and maintain a good knowledge of the my clients services portfolio, this includes participating in sales enablement training and engaging with vendors on Opportunities

The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years work experience, ideally having their first role in an IT Managed Services organisation as a Junior Account Exec / Junior Account Manager.

You will have exposure to UCC, UCaaS, CCaas, Network Infrastructure, Secure Operations and CX solutions and be able to demonstrable your ability to achieve targets from account management activities.

You will also have some experience working with field account managers to generate additional contact points and opportunities.
