Position: H&S Officer / Coordinator
Location: Kingscourt, Ireland
Salary: €40,000
Reporting to: Environmental Health & Safety Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented EH&S Officer / Coordinator to support the delivery and maintenance of a robust Environmental, Health & Safety programme across site. Reporting directly to the Environmental Health & Safety Manager, this role will assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory, corporate, and ISO standards while promoting a positive and proactive safety culture throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities
EH&S Systems & Compliance

- Support the implementation and maintenance of EH&S policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with EPA, corporate, legal, and ISO requirements.
- Support ISO management systems, including audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain EH&S documentation, records, and reporting systems.
- Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
- Participate in risk assessments and support hazard identification processes.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
- Promote a positive safety culture through employee engagement and awareness initiatives.
- Assist in delivering EH&S training and inductions where required.
Qualifications / Education / Experience

- Degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years' experience in an EH&S or similar role is desirable.
- Knowledge of environmental and health & safety legislation.
- Experience supporting ISO management systems preferred.
