Location: Bexhill

Hourly rate: from £11 per hour (based on experience)

Hours: Full Time

HR GO Recruitment are looking for a FOH Café Manager to join our client's busy team in Bexhill. You will be managing the day-to-day operations of FOH.

Accountability

  • To make sure you and all staff are always wearing the full and correct uniform and ensuring good personal hygiene.
  • Ensure your knowledge of our products, pricing and Menu is up to date.
  • Ensure all legal and statutory regulations and responsibilities are met in order to maintain a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and our guests.
  • Follow all processes and Procedure in place within the Company and always ask for help/advice if unsure.
  • Make yourself available for training and communications meetings for which advance notice will normally be given.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of all fixtures, fittings and equipment.
  • Comply fully with all regulations relating to Health and Safety, employee conduct, hygiene, food handling, allergens, fire precautions, emergency procedures and COSHH regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day operations of FOH.
  • Complete all staff rotas and publish, giving staff a minimum of 48 notice
  • Train employees on drink preparation and proper use of coffee equipment.
  • Hiring and onboarding of new staff following the Company Induction procedure.
  • Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with customers and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensure all locations keep a high standard of cleanliness
  • Coordinate with vendors and order supplies as needed.
  • To assist with the training of any new team members in accordance with company standards.
  • Suggest menu items based on seasonality and customers preferences.
  • Cash up Tills and send end of day report. Order change if needed.
  • Ensure all staff training records, management and staff location files are kept up to date.
  • Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation.
