We are recruiting an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse operation. You will be a key part of the logistics team, responsible for safe and efficient material handling, stock control and general warehouse duties.
Key responsibilities:
Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently for loading, unloading and internal movements
Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately
Receive, check and put away goods; carry out stock rotations and basic cycle counts
Complete documentation and basic data entry related to stock movements
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area and report any safety issues
Assist with manual handling tasks and support other warehouse functions as required
Essential skills and experience:
Valid Counterbalance Licence (essential)
Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse environment
Good attention to detail and basic numeracy for stock checks and paperwork
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
Awareness of safe working practices and willingness to follow health and safety procedures
Desirable:
Previous pick/pack experience
Manual handling certification
Basic IT skills (handheld scanners or warehouse management systems)
Working pattern and benefits:
Full-time hours; Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm day
