We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our client in Sittingbourne. Working in a clean environment, this is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. The Warehouse utilises the latest technology in management software and handling equipment, including picking-by-voice and the latest SAP/EWM systems.

You will be picking stock using a combination of reach truck and high-bay crane equipment and so candidates applying must be comfortable working at height. The role is part of a small, busy team involving both lone and team-working in equal measure and will involve other duties such as packing, checking deliveries, preparing despatches, printing labels and updating stock quantities.

Suitable candidates must have

• Experience of driving a forklift - either Reach Truck or Counterbalance (in date licence required)
• Must be physically fit in order to support the physical nature of the role
• Must have good verbal communication skills
• Minimum GCSE Math and English grade C or equivalent experience/capability
• Customer orientated with a natural eagerness to help out where required

Benefits Include:

• Basic salary is £25,000 per annum plus participation in the annual warehouse bonus scheme following 6 months continuous service.
• Nominal basic salary is based on a 40 hour week.
• Basic hours of work Monday to Friday; alternate weekly shifts 06:00 to 15:00 and 11:00 to 20:00 with an hour unpaid break per day or dayshift of 09.00: to 18:00.
• 25 Days holiday/annum (pro rate to start date) Plus Statutory Bank Holidays.
