We are seeking a very experienced Counterbalance FLT operator to join our client based on the Medway City Estate
Working outside in all weathers, duties will be to load and unload lorries, moving timber around the yard, discharge timber from ships and picking up cargo from the terminals.
There are up to 100 deliveries per day going in / out of this yard, so it is very busy and very physical work.
There are occasions where you will need to operate a crane, so if you have driven / operated one before this would be advantageous.
Ideally candidates will have worked in a busy Port environment before, if not, you need to be used to moving very large bulky items around on a daily basis. Candidates must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
Hours of work do include weekend working, so candidates need to be able to commit to this.
