Job Type: Temp to Perm

Shifts: Monday - Wednesday: 05:00 - 15:00, Thursday: 05:00 - 14:30 or

Monday - Wednesday: 13:00 - 23:00, Thursday: 13:00 - 22:30

Salary: £13.26

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Production Supervisors, to join our clients well established & successful vibrant Production team. The Supervisors will be responsible for supervising the premises and staff during their shift, ensuring the security of the property, and overseeing the efficient operation of production runs. The ideal candidate must have previous food production experience and possess excellent leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise the premises and staff during the shift, ensuring the security of the property while on site.

- Oversee staff clocking's on/off, noting any lateness or absences, and reporting them to the Manager.

- Report staff off sick, ensuring sick notes are presented.

- Take instructions from the Manager or Production Manager regarding work to be carried out.

- Organise staff and production run to ensure work is carried out sensibly and efficiently.

- Ensure machinery is working correctly and efficiently. Contact the Manager or Maintenance Engineer in case of any queries, breakdowns, or problems that cannot be solved.

- Maintain efficient production and packing, ensuring work is undertaken within relevant legislation and company production procedures.

- Apply the company's disciplinary procedures up to verbal warning when necessary, and report in writing to the Manager any action taken.

- Maintain all appropriate records.

- Ensure appropriate storage of all raw materials and finished goods to maintain optimum quality.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar role in a food production environment.

- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

- Knowledge of production processes and procedures.

- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.

- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work well in a team environment.

- Flexibility to work different shifts as required.
