Location: Hastings
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Shift Pattern: Rotational shifts - 6:00am-3:00pm, 9:00am-6:00pm and 2:00pm-11:00pm
Salary: Up to £33,000 per year

HRGO is seeking an experienced FLT Driver to join our clients Manufacturing business in Hastings.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering a varied rotational shift pattern across five days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping throughout the Yard and Warehouse.

  • Ensuring the Yard is organised, clean and safe at all times.

  • Safely and correctly loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring deliveries are completed on time.

  • Ensuring products and deliveries are clearly marked, identified and accompanied by the correct paperwork.

  • Accurately picking and packing products in preparation for delivery.

  • Completing stock management and stock rotation in line with company procedures.

  • Ensuring stock is stored correctly and that all stock movements and placements are accurately recorded on the system.

  • Following all company health and safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues while also being able to work independently and use your own initiative.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Experience using computer-based stock management systems.

  • Knowledge and experience of safely handling and packing materials in accordance with agreed procedures.

  • A strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

  • Experience of accurate picking, packing, loading and preparing goods for delivery.

  • The ability to learn and retain knowledge of an extensive product range.

  • The ability to accurately interpret product and order paperwork.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to stock management.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team while also working independently.

  • A proactive approach and the ability to use your own initiative.

  • A full Forklift Truck Licence or current Forklift Operator Safety Certificate. Training may be considered for the right candidate.

  • A Class 2 HGV licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
