• Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer

• Working hours 0800 - 1630 (on site working times)

About the role

HRGO Recruitment are looking to appoint an experienced and proactive Fire Alarm Engineer to undertake reactive and maintenance works for specific contracts. Additionally, the role may undertake small to medium installation projects as they arise. The role will involve liaising with clients and building users on site and the use of tablet devices to enable remote/responsive working.

The role will be subject to rota'd call out cover which will be paid at the agreed overtime rates. A company vehicle and tablet device will be provided.

This role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and professional references.

About You

• You will have good level of experience of maintenance and fault finding for Fire Alarm systems, both conventional and addressable.
• Be able to provide evidence of training, either FIA units or similar. Progression training will be provided for the right candidate.
• You will be able to take a logical and professional approach to resolving issues for clients.
• Electrical experience and/or qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Extinguisher maintenance experience would be beneficial but not essential.
• You will be passionate about your work and take a professional approach to deliver exceptional standards of technical knowledge, practical skills and documentation.
• You will have a commitment to continued professional development and hold a full clean UK Driver License.
