Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm

HRGO Recruitment are recruiting a Final Quality Controller to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Eastbourne. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, offering long-term stability and development for the right candidate.

The role suits someone who has a keen eye for detail, takes pride in ensuring high standards, and enjoys being responsible for the final stage of product quality before dispatch.

Role Summary

As a Final Quality Controller, you will be responsible for carrying out final inspections on completed products before they are packaged and dispatched. You will ensure all items meet the required quality standards and specifications, helping to maintain customer satisfaction and reduce returns or defects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting final visual and functional inspections of finished products
  • Ensuring products meet company quality standards and customer specifications
  • Identifying and rejecting faulty or non-conforming items
  • Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining quality documentation
  • Working closely with production teams to address recurring quality issues
  • Ensuring only approved products are passed on for packaging and dispatch
  • Reporting defects, trends, or concerns to supervisors or quality leads
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe inspection area

What We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role (preferred)
  • Ability to follow processes, standards, and written instructions
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with production teams
  • A proactive and responsible approach to quality and standards
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed
