Join a trusted UK distributor of specialist test equipment; supporting customers in the food, medical and pharmaceutical sectors.

We're looking for a Field Service Engineer to provide expert servicing, calibration and repair of electro-mechanical systems, including gas analysers, mixers, and leak detection equipment.

You'll work both at the South Cambridgeshire Service Centre and on Customer sites across the UK and Northern Ireland, with full product training provided and opportunities to develop your technical expertise in a growing industry.

Applicants must live close enough to comfortably commute daily to the Service Centre, which is situated in the Duxford - South Cambridge region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, calibrate and repair electro-mechanical test and gas analysis equipment
  • Carry out field service visits to customer sites across the UK & Northern Ireland
  • Support workshop-based repairs and maintenance at the South Cambridgeshire service centre
  • Provide professional, customer-focused technical support and documentation

Requirements:

  • Strong interest in engineering/technology; confident to work independently once trained
  • Basic mechanical understanding
  • Wiring and basic electrical testing experience
  • Qualifications in Electrical, Electronic, Engineering or similar preferred (not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence and good computer literacy
  • Clear communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude
