We are recruiting for a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of abrasive shot blasting equipment, medias, and associated machinery, seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role offering variety, travel, and rewarding earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, maintain, and repair shot blasting and surface preparation equipment at customer sites.
Carry out diagnostics and fault-finding (mechanical and basic electrical) during emergency breakdowns.
Perform on-site equipment inspections and provide detailed reports.
Recommend productivity or efficiency improvements based on equipment condition.
Travel throughout the UK and Ireland, with occasional overnight stays and weekend work.
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll represent our brand in the field and play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of service and support.
Essential Requirements
Full UK driving licence.
Strong mechanical engineering background.
Basic electrical understanding.
Welding, fitting, and basic fabrication experience.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
As a Field Service Engineer, a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and overnight stays is required.
