We are looking for a passionate Facilities Assistant to join this amazing team, several branches spanning the Essex area.
The role is for a hands-on facilities assistant, with additional scope to get involved with new innovative projects regarding environment and being a greener company too.
This is a permanent position with lots of variety and scope to learn but also being a real team player in supporting and assisting with a branch network operations team.
Due to the nature of this role and supporting the wider branches you will need to have a clean licence as a company vehicle is provided (automatic electric van)
Effective control of the day to day running of the facilities department to include stock replenishment, stationery orders, organisation of and ensure all daily tasks are complete to allow a seamless customer service experience
Investigate and co-ordinate requirements for minor repairs on premises as well as general building maintenance to include liaison with external suppliers, logging action taken and completed
Organise index and scanning of documentation to the storage facility
Travel across our branch network to support with minor maintenance and ad-hoc repair - being hands on is vital in this along with strong customer services.
Organise and assist in the control of deliveries for head office and ensure all deliveries are stored as required
Effective organisation of all meeting room bookings and diaries, to include staff areas are clean and tidy at all times
Assess, review & complete Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Assessments as required; to include follow up report completion to the DSE Group email for any further action
Monday to Friday min 35 hours and will also consider 4 days per week options as well.
