HR GO Recruitment are currently looking for a Fabrication Operative to join a busy manufacturing company in Gravesend on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic sheet metal fabrication experience who is hands-on, willing to learn and looking to develop new skills. Full training will be provided in laser welding, which will make up the majority of the role.
Main Duties
Basic sheet metal fabrication.
Operating a press brake (operation only - no setting required).
Riveting components.
Laser welding (full training provided).
Grinding and sanding finished products.
Using general hand tools, including drills, files and other workshop equipment.
Following engineering drawings and quality standards.
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Basic sheet metal fabrication experience.
Comfortable using hand tools and workshop equipment.
A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Reliable with a strong work ethic.
What's on Offer?
