Export Operations Coordinator

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years (Airfreight & Seafreight)


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Export Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid air and sea freight experience who enjoys managing end‑to‑end export operations in a fast‑paced and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full air and sea export operations from booking through to final delivery.
  • Prepare and process all required export documentation, including:
    • Certificates of Origin
    • Country‑specific customs documents
  • Arrange bookings with shipping lines, airlines, and global carriers.
  • Monitor vessel and flight deadlines to ensure all cut‑offs are met.
  • Complete and submit accurate customs entries.
  • Use industry systems such as CNS, Destin8, or MultiFreight to manage shipments.
  • Maintain communication with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Proactively resolve operational issues as they arise.
  • Communicate with customers, hauliers and carriers
  • Arranging bookings with lines and carriers
  • Arranging collections markin sure to meet customs entries

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in export operations (airfreight & seafreight) - Working for a small to medium sized freight forwarder.
  • Knowledge of both deep-sea and airfreight exports is essential as this makes up a majority of this role (ESSENTIAL)
  • MUST have experience of completing EXPORT ENTRIES - ESSENTIAL
  • Strong understanding of export documentation and customs rules.
  • Experience with CNS, Destin8, or MultiFreight (at least one essential).
  • Confident with customs procedures and terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict cut‑off times.
  • A proactive and solutions‑focused approach.
