Experienced Hygiene Operative

Experienced hygiene operative required for an immediate start. The position is an on-going temporary role.

Duties will include:-

• Washing down with cold water. (In some cases hot water.)

• Washing down with hose guns mains water or power hose gun.

• Using jet washers to clean machinery .

• The use of foam machines.

• Climb over equipment.

• Bend down under equipment.

• Working in a timely manner.

• Wet gear available.

Candidates will be required to wash down and clean food production lines, adhering to good GMP practices. The role requires lifting of equipment up to 25kg in weight.

Washing and drying of machine parts, together with operation of cleaning equipment during deep cleaning tasks.

Filling in daily and weekly hygiene check sheets, handling of food grade cleaning solutions (training to be provided) a weekly stock take of janitorial supplies and other duties as necessary.

Candidates must possess a good understanding of both written and verbal English, be able to communicate well and to follow instructions in the use of chemicals.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday nightwork 8PM to finish (normally 4am / 5am finish).

This work is physical manual work. Own transport is required due to location. The work will be on going and could lead to permanent work
