Events Assistant - Hybrid Role
My client is a leading global events business who organise trade shows & conferences within some exciting sectors, so you get to work on some great brands. They are looking for an Event Management Graduate who already has some events exposure, maybe as an intern or have done a sandwich degree.
This is an entry level role within the event/exhibition profession. As a Coordinator, you will report into the Operations Manager and you will be a key member of the operations team, ensuring that the event runs flawlessly. Providing high levels of customer care and supporting both our customers and wider internal event team throughout the event cycle.
As the Events Assistant you will be expected to deliver a range of tasks to support the of running of various sized exhibitions throughout the event cycle. These will include Liaising with their exhibitors, delegates, sponsors and show contractors providing high levels of customer service at all times. Preparing and maintaining the event exhibitor manual, floorplans and show documents. Onsite preparation, including, managing all pre-show packing, ordering of goods, and onsite packs. Attendance onsite for periods of time at events is required. Work alongside the Operations Manager to deliver the event plan from pre-show planning to onsite delivery. Assist the Operations Manager in updating and maintaining the exhibition floorplan
