HRGO Recruitment are recruiting Engineering Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Gainsborough for an experienced Engineering Warehouse Operative. This is an excellent Temp to Perm opportunity for someone with a background in a mechanical engineering warehouse or engineering stores environment who is looking to join a growing business offering long-term stability, excellent working hours and a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Process customer orders accurately from receipt through to picking, packing and dispatch.
Receive, inspect and book in engineering parts and materials.
Pick and issue components to support production requirements.
Prepare and dispatch customer orders safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
Carry out regular stock checks and inventory control.
Load and unload deliveries safely.
Work closely with production, purchasing and logistics teams to ensure materials are available when required.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment in line with Health & Safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
A minimum of 2 years' experience within a mechanical engineering warehouse or engineering stores environment.
Experience processing customer orders from receipt through to picking and dispatch.
Strong IT literacy with experience using stock control or warehouse management systems.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to work independently using your own initiative, while also working effectively as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
A proactive, reliable and positive approach to work.
