Emergency Call Handler
HR GO have this rare and amazing opportunity for Emergency Call Handler in an inbound Call Centre based in Coxheath.
This fantastic role is Temp to Perm for the right person, looking to start or continue a career within the health service.
You will be answering operational calls that come into the EOC. Utilise the chosen clinical triage software system to prioritise calls as soon as possible. Enter information into the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system accurately and promptly. Provide pre-arrival advice to callers where appropriate.
You must be able to deal with all calls in a calm and professional manner, demonstrating empathy for the caller and ensuring that callers feel comfortable and confident that their situation is being dealt with competence.
Expectations of Staff
This is a challenging, emotional role with lots to learn. High pressured environment that is ever changing. Effective written & verbal communication skills. Customer service experience with effective listening skills. 4 GCSEs, key board skills & computer literate. Multi-tasking and remaining calm under pressure. Flexible, empathetic, and compassionate.
Shift Pattern - 24/7 365 role with a mixture of days, lates & nights in a rota.
Full training is provided with 6-10 weeks programme, which must be passed before going life on the calls, classroom training Monday - Friday followed by mentoring shifts.
