Electronics Assembly Operator
We are recruiting skilled Electrical Assembly Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on technicians who take pride in producing high-quality electronic assemblies and components.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform soldering and crimping of wires, connectors and components to required standards
- Assemble electrical and electronic sub-assemblies following drawings, work instructions and process documentation
- Carry out visual and functional inspections, ensuring finish and workmanship meet quality requirements
- Use hand tools, basic test equipment and fixtures to complete assembly and testing tasks
- Record production data and complete required paperwork accurately
- Adhere to health & safety and quality procedures on the shop floor and contribute to continuous improvement
Required skills and experience:
- Soldering and crimping experience in a manufacturing environment ideally
- Practical experience working to assembly drawings and work instructions
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and consistency
- Able to work as part of a team and follow production schedules
Desirable:
- IPC training (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620) would be an advantage
