Position: Design Manager

Hours: Monday - Friday
Salary: Up to £48,000 p/a

Company Overview:
A leading global manufacturer seeking a Design Manager to oversee and enhance the design team's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day workload and support senior designers in creating production drawings.
• Ensure timely and accurate order issuance.
• Collaborate with departments on manufacturing constraints.
• Convert client specifications into manufacturing drawings.
• Generate weekly workload reports and ensure adherence to KPIs.
• Maintain and update SOPs and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Support recruitment, training, and product development efforts.
• Ensure compliance with ISO certifications and company policies.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Experience in a design office supporting production.
• Proficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD; strong 3D CAD skills.
• Microsoft Office competence.
• HNC/BTEC in Engineering or Construction (preferred).
• Proven teamwork and leadership capabilities.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
