About the Role: In this rewarding position, you'll have the chance to work in an Ofsted-registered Children's Home, where you'll play a pivotal role in providing a supportive and nurturing environment. Your daily experiences will be diverse, involving leadership, teamwork, and hands-on care.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety and well-being of young people in care.
Inspire and motivate young people to engage in activities and education.
Lead staff teams effectively in a residential childcare setting.
Manage the home confidently in the absence of the Registered Manager.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
Full UK driving license with business insurance.
Willingness to work a 2 on, 4 off rota, including sleep-ins.
Experience with OFSTEDInspections and a strong understanding of current legislation in the sector.
Ability to deliver therapeutic care and support to young people.
Flexibility for shift work, including weekends and sleep-ins.
Desirable Attributes:
At least 3 years of experience working in children's residential homes within the social care sector
Leadership and Management qualification preferred.
Understanding of attachment and trauma as they relate to young people.
Proven experience in developing staff teams and individual capabilities.
