Ashford, Kent and require driving and acsess to own car. This job roles will have an additional £6240 as the roles require 2 nights a week sleep ins which are paid at an additional £60 per sleep in.
Managment - there are two different contracts avaliable.
39 hours weekly : Probation - £35,124 After - £36362.04 + the addional ( £6240 for the sleep ins before and after probation )
45 hours weekly :Probation - £40528.40 + After - £42,956 + the addional ( £6240 for the sleep ins before and after probation)
As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of a residential home, ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding are consistently delivered.
You will play a key role in leading the staff team, supporting young people with complex needs, and ensuring the home operates in line with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support the overall management of the residential home
Lead, supervise and develop a team of care staff
Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and behaviour support
Contribute to care planning and risk assessments
Support with rota planning and operational organisation
Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
Liaise with external professionals, families and local authorities
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and internal policies
Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Experience within a children's residential care setting
Previous experience supervising or leading staff
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations & Quality Standards
Experience supporting young people with emotional/behavioural needs
Full UK driving licence
