Job Title: Customer Service Advisor Location: Boldon Pay Rate: £12.87 per hour Job Type: Temp - Perm Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
HRGO Recruitment are currently looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join a well-established business based in Boldon.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys building relationships and resolving customer queries. Working within a busy Credit Control team, you will be responsible for contacting business customers to ensure accounts are paid in line with agreed terms while delivering outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to handle sensitive conversations while maintaining a positive and professional approach.
Main Duties:
Managing inbound and outbound customer contact via telephone and email
Collecting outstanding payments in line with agreed payment terms
Resolving payment queries and overcoming barriers to payment
Responding to customer enquiries within agreed service levels
Maintaining accurate customer records and updating internal systems
Ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with company procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience within a customer service or contact centre environment
Credit control or collections experience is desirable but not essential
Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
