Position: Customer Service Executive
Location: Deeside
Hours: Full Time Monday-Friday
Salary: £22,000-£24,000 P/A DOE
Due to continued growth and expansion my client is currently seeking Customer Service Executive to join a busy manufacturing company on a Permanent basis.
This customer service executive position is different to normal customer service roles. It is less transactional than typical customer service/call & contact centre environments, with a focus on attention to detail for delivering an all-round excellent customer experience at every contact.
Working in a small but expanding team we are looking for candidates with existing customer service skills that will support the development and growth of the department. This requires providing support from the on-boarding process for new accounts through to processing orders and dealing with any post-delivery issues for existing accounts.
Specific Tasks/Accountability's:
Communicate daily with Sales Account Managers on all general enquiries regarding key accounts
Proactively manage customer's requirements via email and telephone on a regular basis to understand stock requirements and stock forecasts
Liaise with the purchasing department for raw material requisitions
Monitor aged stock level on behalf of the customer and client
Effectively liaise with Production, utilising data to continuously ensure all customers are up to date with orders & despatches
Understand and monitor delivery lead times given by customers and proactively communicate with other departments to achieve required results
Provide a constant high standard of customer care, developing close, supportive business relationships with our customer base
Identify deal with any customer complaints and ensure they are resolved effectively and professionally
When required, provide bespoke data reports for customers or colleagues within the company
Liaise with our Finance Shared Services Centre to ensure customer's accounts are paid and resolve any outstanding queries held on file
Desirable Skills:
These will bring valuable experience to the customer service executive role. The examples outlined below are advantageous but not essential requirements.
Previous experience ideally gained within a manufacturing environment
Experience with customer communications via email, telephone, and virtual meetings
Data Entry experience with a high level of accuracy
Experience of office administration and using in-house systems
Computer literate specific experience of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal colleagues from other departments
