A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-established privately-owned business based in Lewes, East Sussex, with an exciting portfolio of over 20 conferences and exhibitions for a variety of membership organisations, predominantly in the healthcare sector. This would suit either a recent graduate, good A level candidate or those looking for their second role within the conference sector.
Due to the nature of most events & conference businesses' this position will require frequent overnight stays away, travel and working to critical deadlines.
The events take place all over the UK and come in all shapes and sizes, from roadshows for 100 delegates to prestigious national conferences for 2000 attendees. Services also include full Secretariat support to a number of national membership organisations, by where they administer members and committees around the country in some of the leading UK hospitals.
A very busy, varied role, where you will work within a friendly conference team focusing on delegate management and event support. The ideal candidate will have the ability to perform under great pressure, be able to prioritise workloads whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail.
This is a unique chance for a candidate to take their first step into the world of professional Conferences and Exhibition Management.
If you are a Graduate, applications will be considered from all disciplines, Event Management, Marketing and those degrees with a focus on Communication and Administration are welcomed and encouraged.
