My client is an Engineering company based on the outskirts of Bridgwater and focus primarily on the prestigious aerospace, motorsport, security & defence, and oil & gas sectors.

They are looking for someone with a can-do attitude to join the team as lathe operator and be familiar with Fanuc controls, be able to adjust offsets and use measuring equipment such as micrometers and Vernier callipers to maintain accuracy and quality of parts being produced.
You will be required to operate CNC Lathes and use various equipment to produce high quality components for the microchip manufacturers.
A knowledge of setting tools, automatic bar-feeds, and the ability to set machines unaided will be a distinct advantage.

The working hours are 6am-6pm, 4 days on and 4 days off, includes weekend work and bank holidays.
Working 182.5 days (1/2 the year) plus 20 days holiday.
£10.00 per hour, On top of that they are paying a 20% shift allowance (£12ph).
