Expanding Precision engineering/ tooling manufacturer have an opportunity for a senior programmer setter/operator and engineer to join the team.

The company work on cutting-edge projects in the Aerospace, Military, and Automotive sectors and have a strong specialism with large parts.

In this senior role, you will:

  • Program on and off line for 3 and 5 axis mills (software cross training available)
  • Set and operate a range of equipment
  • Work with Diverse Materials: i.e. variety of metals, composites, plastics and other materials.
  • Apply Engineering Expertise: Utilise your abilities to assess and calculate speeds and feeds tailored to specific materials for optimal efficiency.
  • Interpret Complex Designs: Bring your strong engineering background to life by translating intricate drawings into precise manufacturing processes.
  • Mentor and Collaborate: Guide and share your knowledge with junior engineers while engaging in team-oriented projects that foster innovation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Significant Experience: Proven history as a CNC and CAD/CAM programmer, setter, and operator, preferably with exposure to die and mould tooling.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls, as well as a deep understanding of machining processes and tooling techniques.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach with a strong commitment to producing high-quality, precise work.
