CNC Miller (3 -5 Axis )
Location: Clacton on Sea, Essex
Salary Range: £32,448 - £42,600 PA, (£16.00 - £21.00 p/hr), depending on experience, plus overtime rates
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Choice of working a 4-day or 5-day week:
- Monday - Wednesday - 07:30 - 18:00 and Thursday 07:30 - 17:00
- Or Monday - Thursday - 07:30 - 16:30 and Friday 07:30 - 12:30
Working Hrs - 39 hrs per week.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled CNC Miller specialising in 5-Axis machining to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for precision engineering and a commitment to producing high-quality work, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and manage 3, 4 & 5-Axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals to produce parts to exact specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the milling process.
- Perform regular maintenance and ensure machinery is in optimal working condition.
- Uphold quality control standards, conducting inspections and making adjustments as necessary.
Qualifications or knowledge Required:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller with strong expertise in 5-Axis machining.
- Able to identify tooling and working methods to operate machine competently.
- Good knowledge of machine shop practices.
- Knowledge of CNC ISO & 'G' codes to effectively operate machine.
- A recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship would be advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
