A well-established precision engineering company based in Witham is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their team. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times to support work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate 3 and 4-axis CNC milling machines, primarily Hurco models, to manufacture high-precision components.
Program CNC machines at the control panel and assist with offline programming when required.
Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient production.
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to maintain optimal machine performance.
Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure compliance with strict quality standards.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in CNC Milling, with a strong ability to set and operate CNC machines.
Proficient in using Hurco CNC Mills.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric dimensions.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to achieving high-quality standards.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
