CNC Machinist/Toolmaker

Location: Thorne, Doncaster

Position: CNC Machinist/Toolmaker

Hours: Rotating shift 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday

Pay rate: from £30000, dependant on experience

Our client is seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join their team. As a Toolmaker, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the modification or construction of tooling, jigs, and attachments to maintain or enhance production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the modification or construction of tooling, jigs, and attachments

- Manufacture new tooling according to issued drawings

- Test tooling prior to release

- Read drawings and propose possible improvements

- Maintain the KanBan system and ensure stock of supplies

- Oversee the CNC shift and provide assistance

Requirements:

- Be flexible to adapt to changing demands of the role

- Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness

- Ability to read drawings accurately

- Any other duties which the line manager deems reasonable.
