We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operative on behalf of a growing manufacturing company in Thorne. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines, particularly in the drilling, tapping, and turning of aluminium parts. The role involves preparing and packing parts for dispatch, ensuring product quality and compliance with specifications, maintaining a clean and safe working area, and collaborating with the Team Leader to meet production targets.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the Team Leader to meet production targets
- Finishing products to a high quality standard
- Safely and efficiently using and controlling machinery, tooling, and equipment
- Performing any other duties deemed reasonable by the Team Leader
- Adapting to changing demands of the role
- Demonstrating punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness
- Willingness to undergo relevant training
- Ability to manage time effectively
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operative
- Familiarity with CNC machining processes, particularly with aluminium parts
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required
