- Day Shift: to £35,000 pa with Overtime at Time and a Half
- Night Shift: to £46,655 pa with Overtime at Time and a Half (Includes Shift Premium)

Hours:
- 39 Hours per Week

Work Schedule:
- Day Shift: - Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Early Finish on Friday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
or
- Night Shift: - Monday to Thursday: 9:45 pm - 8:00 am

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Cylindrical Grinder - Programmer / Setter / Operator with expertise in Cylindrical Grinding. This permanent position involves a 39-hour work-week and is based in Hatfield with a choice of apply for either the day shift or the night shift.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our clients machines, ensuring precision, quality, and adherence to specifications.

CNC Cylindrical Grinder Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency in Cylindrical Grinding.
- Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual cylindrical grinding machines.
- Work with fine tolerances to produce first-off components for inspection.
- Ensure components are manufactured to the highest standards in accordance with specifications and drawings.
- Conduct inspections during production to maintain compliance with drawing and specification requirements.
- Interpret operation sheets, drawings, sketches, and CAD to program and set up parts.
- Perform cleaning and preventative maintenance on machines.
- Collaborate in Continuous Improvement/Lean manufacturing initiatives when required.

Skills and Experience:
- Experience in programming, setting, and operating Studer CNC Grinders and manual machines.
- Any experience of Studer CNC Grinders would be beneficial.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Competency in using various measuring devices and inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with Aerospace AS9100D requirements related to the CNC grinder's role.
- Team player with the ability to assist others when required.
