Location: Sittingbourne (must have own transport due to location)
Contract: Evening cleaning Tuesdays and Fridays 3.30pm to 7.30pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Role summary: We are seeking a reliable, hard-working Cleaner to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the premises, working independently and as part of a small team. Attention to detail, punctuality and the ability to follow instructions are essential.
Key responsibilities:
General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying bins
Cleaning and sanitising toilets, kitchens and communal areas
Replenishing consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
Reporting maintenance issues and health & safety concerns
Using cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly
Following site procedures and schedules to ensure consistent standards
Requirements:
Basic DBS check required (must have or be willing to obtain prior to starting)
MUST have own transport due to location
Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential; full training provided
Good timekeeping, reliability and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to follow instructions and work to a schedule
Comfortable with physical aspects of the role
