Our client in the Social Care industry is seeking dedicated and caring individuals to join their team as a Childrens Residential Support Worker in Wellington in Somerset. Key Responsibilities:
As a Childrens Residential Support Worker you will be assisting young people in all aspects of daily life, including school preparation, meals, and social activities.
Document care activities accurately to maintain high standards in care delivery.
Collaborate with multi-agency teams, ensuring a holistic approach to support.
Foster life skills and promote emotional and social development for a rewarding group living experience.
What We're Looking For:
A caring individual who can create a safe and nurturing environment.
Willingness to undertake a QCF Level 3 Diploma in Working with Children within 2 years of employment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
A full manual driving licence is essential.
To complete 24 hour shifts either on a 2 on and 2 off rota (other working patterns are available)
Desirable Qualities:
Experience in the caring profession or knowledge of safeguarding practices.
Experience as a Childrens Residential Support Worker although not essential as full training will be giving
Understanding the impact of trauma on children and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
