Location: Burgess Hill

Hours: Rota basis (Serving food Mon - Sat: 2pm - 3pm & 6pm - 9pm SUNDAY / 12pm - 7pm)

Salary: 28k-33k

We are seeking a talented and Passionate Chef De Partie to join our clients dynamic team. You will be working for one of the top-rated restaurants in Sussex. This country bar & restaurant is a privately owned, family run business that has a 150 cover bar & restaurant.

You will be responsible for overseeing specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high quality dishes and maintaining a smooth operation during service hours.

Responsibilities:

• Checking the cleanliness, organisation and standards within the kitchen
• Assisting the brigade in the smooth, safe and efficient running of the kitchen operation
• To assist both the Head & Senior Sous Chef in the training of younger members of the team
• Responsible for the day to day running of any given section
• Demonstrating a committed approach maintain a consistent service in the kitchen
• Assisting both the Head & Senior Sous Chef in the development of both the menus & daily specials
• Ensuring the quality of food is of the exceptional standard expected
• Be aware of health and safety and hygiene regulations & help maintain to a high standard
• Help with ordering on a daily basis, whilst keeping in mind stock usage, menu planning and business levels
