You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the business development strategy across our homecare services. You will be working closely with our team, to ensure that Live-in Care is placed key within the marketplace.

This role also has a strong commercial element: we'll look to you to develop first-rate professional relationships with key individuals within local authorities and commissioning bodies, identify opportunities and win new business.

Excellent communication, networking and influencing skills are clearly important, along with a thorough understanding of the commissioning process. On top of that, you should be an inspirational leader with proven experience of managing performance and delivering a customer facing service. The ability to achieve KPIs, exceed targets and drive business growth is essential too.

Key requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in a business development role
  • Proven track record of delivering to new business targets on a consistent basis.
  • Demonstrable gravitas to develop and build strong relationships with new clients, commissioners, and local authorities.
  • Target market research and analysis to enable the communication of complex data to suit the audience.
  • Confident presenter and public speaker
  • Sales pipeline management
  • Client relationship management
  • Negotiation skills
  • Able to build positive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong IT systems skills knowledge and highly analytical to develop meaningful MI reports and sales metrics.

Be prepared to undertake national travel as and when required
