HRGO are recruiting Baggage Handlers on behalf of our client in the travel industry, based on the outskirts of Hythe. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for flexible, ad-hoc work throughout the summer and beyond. 🧳
You'll be part of a friendly team, helping to ensure passengers and their luggage are moved efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities:
Move baggage safely between coaches.
Assist with loading and unloading luggage.
Hand out leaflets to passengers when required.
Direct passengers to the correct coaches and departure points.
Follow health and safety procedures while carrying out manual handling duties.
About you:
Reliable, punctual and happy to work outdoors.
Physically fit, as the role involves lifting and moving luggage.
Friendly with good communication and customer service skills.
Able to work flexibly, particularly weekends.
Due to the location, it is preferred if you have a licence and access to your own vehicle.
Working pattern:
Mainly Friday, Saturday, Sunday and/or Monday
Start times of 9:00am or 12:00pm
Shifts typically between 4 and 8 hours
Minimum of 4 hours' pay guaranteed per shift (even if you work less)
