We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join our client's busy and growing manufacturing operation on the outskirts of Ashford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous assembly, production, manufacturing or hands-on experience who is looking for a stable position with the opportunity to become permanent.
The Role
As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling products/components accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key responsibilities include:
Assembling components and products to required specifications
Using basic hand tools and equipment
Following assembly instructions and production procedures
Checking completed work to ensure quality standards are met
Working to production targets and deadlines
Maintaining a clean and organised working area
Following all company health & safety procedures
Working effectively as part of a team
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous assembly, production or manufacturing experience
Be confident using hand tools
Have good attention to detail
Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Have a good attitude and willingness to learn
Be able to work Monday to Friday
Have their own transport due to the location of the site
