Assembly Operative

Job Reference: Doncaster

We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a busy production our client team in Doncaster.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Weekly pay available

🛠 Job Role:
You will be responsible for assembling parking meters and related components, ensuring all products meet quality and production standards.

🔧 Duties include:

• Using basic hand tools to assemble units
• Screwing, fastening, and securing components
• Connecting electrical parts (screens, keypads, card readers)
• Following technical drawings and work instructions
• Carrying out basic quality checks
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area
• Working as part of a production team to meet targets

✔ What we're looking for:

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience (desirable, not essential)
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to use hand tools safely
• Basic understanding of electrical connections (training provided)
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
