Location: Canterbury base but hybrid working is available

The client
A highly reputable forward-thinking and progressive architectural and town planning consultancy, primarily working across London and the south-east of England.
Their award winning team work across a large variety of sectors of the construction industry, ensuring project variety, with no two days the same.
We looking for someone who can display the following qualities:
- One of the team - Can build and maintain good team-working relationships, whilst also able to work under own direction
- Eye for detail
- Great time management and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledgeable and able to give sound advice - effectively communicating with clients and contractors to provide sound architectural advice
- Comfortable in a client-facing role - working closely with clients and developing working relationships
The Role:
- Providing sound and knowledgeable advice to clients to help develop project briefs and throughout the life of a project
- Managing projects and project teams
- Preparing and presenting ideas and design proposals
- Producing detailed drawings key
- Attending site visits and chairing site meetings
- Preparing reports, presentations and specifications
- Preparing planning applications.
- Advising on grant application processes
- Leading and mentoring junior members of staff
Proficient in the following programmes:
- AutoCAD (essential)
- Revit (desirable)
- Adobe creative suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator
- NBS Chorus
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experienced, qualified Architect holding RIBA and ARB membership
- Knowledge and experience of contract administration
- Experience in managing projects and project teams
- Ability to lead and mentor junior members of staff
- Knowledge of construction health and safety (designers' duties under CDM2015)
- Use of own transport will be essential to undertake site visits
- Knowledge of experience UK Building Regulations

Salary - Negotiable (Dependent on experience)
