Aircraft Maintenance duty supervisor - Opportunity for a highly organised person with a strong understanding of corporate jet AOG and line maintenance to coordinate works across the hanger. You should have strong customer service and man management skills.

You will be the primary point of contact for customers, co‑ordinate and manage day‑to‑day maintenance activity, ensure full regulatory compliance, and lead a team of B1 and B2 Line/AOG Engineers. This role suits a hands‑on leader who is comfortable in a fast‑moving, customer‑focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, co‑ordinate and oversee all Line and AOG work from Stansted, ensuring tasks are delivered safely, on time and to the required standard.
  • Act as the main customer interface, responding to enquiries and providing clear updates before, during and after maintenance events.
  • Prepare accurate, competitive quotations and secure customer approval for any additional work or costs.
  • Allocate engineering resources effectively, ensuring B1/B2 teams are deployed to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure all maintenance is carried out in line with the company MOE and other relevant regulations.
  • Support Part‑CAMO activities, ensuring Work Orders and Work Packs are issued, completed and returned within agreed timescales.
  • Manage AOG and unscheduled events to maximise productive use of aircraft downtime.
  • Monitor estimated versus actual man‑hours in real time, resolving discrepancies and supporting commercial performance.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong background in business jet maintenance and engineering management.
  • Proven experience in line and/or AOG operations, including team leadership and resource planning.
  • Relevant engineering degree and/or significant aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Sound understanding of inspection practices, methods, tools and industry standards.
  • Experience working to regulatory requirements and liaising with CAMO and commercial teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with confidence in dealing directly with customers.

The role is working on a 7am to 7pm shifts (5 on,5 off,4 on,4 off).
