Role: Air Import Clerk

Location: Heathrow

Shift Pattern: 7am-7pm (4 on 4 off)

Salary: 28K

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Air Import Clerk to join a dynamic logistics team at Heathrow. The individual MUST posses custom clearance and freight forwarding experience in the perishable field.

Role - not limited too

• Establish an effective collaborative relationship with the operational team and maintain communication with customers on all customs issues
• Submit Import declarations via Cargowise
• Monitor arrivals and prepare documentation for entry submission and liaising where needed
• Submit T1 departures and arrivals when required via NCT's

Requirements:

• Recent experience of working in Customs Brokerage environment
• Knowledge of the HMRC Tariff for a diverse range of products but most specifically perishable goods
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills in English

The individual MUST posses customs clearance and freight forwarding experience in the perishable field. You will not be consider without this.
