Accounts Assistant

Start Date: October 2021

We are recruiting for a full time Account Assistant to start in October 2021. You will be joining a very busy Financial team in a successful International production and manufacturing company based in Harlow.

Our client are an established Chemical & medical device manufacturing company. You will be working and reporting to the Financial Controller on a daily basis as well as supporting other departments and the reception area too.

Interviews are to take place September 2021

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash management duties

• Maintain & monitor accounts receivable records

• Co-ordinate with the Sales and Dispatch departments

• Prepare monthly reports for Financial Controller

• Run credit checks on new customers

• Assist with all Account Payable where required

• Support Financial Director when required

• Provide absence cover for Welcome Desk Administer

Experience

• Previous experience in accounts

• Strong excel skills

• Confident and approachable

• Attention to detail

• Ability to build working relationships

• Team player and able to work unaided, using own initiative
