We are supporting one of Kents leading law firms in their search for a Accounts & Credit Control Assistant.

The role is offered on a full time permanent basis (Office based) and the hours of work are Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00

Location : Herne Bay

Purpose of the role:

Accounts
Processing petty cash reconciliations for all sites
Assist with processing credit card statements
Complete a whole range of processing, including client, office and nominal transactions
Process card payments over the phone
Maintain Bankline CHAPS/Faster payments templates for all regular payees and keeping this up to date
Purchase Ledger invoices and payments
Daily banking
Provide support to the wider accounts department with other tasks

Credit Control
Liaise with other members of staff regarding overdue bills and completing the agreed actions whilst keeping records up to date
Sending client statements
Sending out reminders and seven day letters to clients
Processing both client to office and client to client transfers

Salary: £21,000- £24,000 per annum
