Position: Yard Person

Location: Ellesmere Port

Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-2pm /2pm-10pm/10pm-6am Saturday on a rota basis

Salary: up to £20,000p/a

We are looking for highly motivated individual to be part of our client's team within their state-of-the-art Plant based on the Wirral. Duties:

• Ensure all Production, Warehouse and Yard floor areas are kept clean and free of any debris.
• Maintain the garden areas of the grounds.
• Ensure all maintenance and Housekeeping is carried out and recorded as required.
• Operation of a forklift as and when required.
• Movement of materials/ tooling to and from machinery as per the production schedules, cleaning and maintenance of various floor areas (including the grounds), setting up and maintenance of new store areas.
• Such work would therefore entail working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Use PPE and wear appropriate clothing as provided. (This may include in time a uniform)
• Undertake certain responsibilities of fellow warehouse colleagues in the event of absence.
• Ensuring all warehouse locations are kept clean and tidy in line with current business and health & safety requirements.
• Operate in line with Health and Safety regulations set out in the training.
• Partake and suggest improvements that can be made in terms of the Warehouse Areas and related processes.
• Any other reasonable request by management

Skill and Qualifications:

• In date FLT Counterbalance License
• Minimum of 2 Years' experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Flexible approach to work and duties
